Our family hired Shanna to help us clean out our recently deceased mother's home. Our mom saved "everything', and the closets and storage rooms were packed with twenty years of stuff.
Shanna dug into the problem and directed us on what items were recyclable or donatable. She arranged for an appraiser to look at all of our items and make sure we weren't donating some unknown "gem". She arranged for charities to come to our home and pick up the items. This was no small task, as we ended up compiling 50 moving boxes of items for donation.
Beyond her skills in organizing and helping us to go through the entire home, Shanna was great at dealing with the various personalities of four siblings dealing with a very emotional event. She completely exceeded our expectations and allowed us to move past a very difficult situation.

Shanna has been amazing in helping me with my organizational challenges. Since I was a child, I have struggled with personal organization issues. I was raised to not be wasteful; the mentality of holding on to possessions, clothes, and gifts even if they did not physically fit or suit my taste was a behavior I learned from my elders. Prior to calling Shanna, I read organizational self-help books and saw some good shows about de-cluttering. They gave great tips and insights about donating items and practical techniques, however I got to a point I was so overwhelmed and wanted to get my environment under control. I was spending so much time "finding things." I felt hindered.
The investment of time and money to work with Shanna has yielded positive and empowering results. She gave me assignments between our appointments. My entire living space looks more open and is more efficient. With her gentle guidance and firm discipline, I am more independent with de-cluttering. I can find things when I need them. Now, my coffee table is clear most of the time. When I have visitors from out-of-town, it only takes me a few hours to prepare rather than an entire night. It is easier for me to manage a budget because I can find my bills, pay them on time, and am not constantly replacing items I would lose due to lack of organization.
For those people who do not like wastefulness, Shanna is a "green" organizer. She incorporates recycling, re-purposing, and donating into her organizational process so the stuff finds the appropriate "homes." I highly recommend Shanna to anyone who is not naturally organized, feels overwhelmed, or has experienced self-esteem and self-consciousness issues due to clutter. She is so caring and talented.
